HHSA Mission Statement

The Home and School Association is a non-profit, fundraising organization that includes parents, teachers and administrators. Our goal is to support and enhance the work of school staff and the Board of Education in providing an enriched school experience for our children. The HHSA relies entirely on dedicated volunteers to plan, run, and raise the necessary funding to make it all possible.

We thank you for your continued support and commitment to the HHSA.

- Newark museum program—science assembly for grades six through eight

- DARE program—fundraiser for the 5th grade

- Donations to the 8th Grade for their graduation from HPS

- Two $1,000 Scholarships to Graduating Senior from NVDHS

- Purchase of 25 iPads for K through 3rd grades

- Purchase of 5 iPads for the resource rooms

- New sound system in the gym: including mixer, amplifier, equipment rack, wireless/handheld microphones, iPad interface and four speakers
